Freelancing Digest Issue #66 – January 15th, 2016

Are your emails client repellent?

Rob Williams, who has seen and read more emails freelancers send to leads than anyone I know, has written a large article all about how to approach and follow up with potential clients over email. Yes… the Eric Davis he mentions is me.

How Often Should You Publish?

Writing has worked really well to attract clients to me. From this article by Blair Enns, he noticed the less often he published, the less results his business had. I don’t think you have to commit to a weekly writing schedule but building a habit around writing does mean you’ll write more. The more practice, the more improvement.

Also check out Blogging as a consultant for a more in-depth look at how I focused on my writing habit on my freelancing blog.
